We all wish we had endless amounts of money so we could practice painting on the best airbrush canvas or illustration board possible, but, realistically – that would cost a lot!
So what can you use instead? Any surface that is
- fairly smooth
- fairly solid
- readily available
- can withstand a little abuse

Fine Art Airbrush Project: Cherries

For this airbrush project I will show you how I painted the cherries shown above.
For this project you will need the following:
- your airbrush equipment
- a selection of paints
- painting surface (illustration board, canvas, or something similar
- thin marker
- pencil
- transfer paper (or drawing skills)
- frisket
- exacto knife
- white pencil crayon or water color pencil
- eraser
- scrap white paper
