Airbrushed Nails: The Whole Process

Women love airbrushed nails… this lesson is inspired from all the guys out there who have e-mailed me asking me for more detailed instructions so that they could paint their wives/girlfriends nails for them – SO SWEET!

Several of the e-mails spoke of attempts that failed miserably because the woman involved panicked… I’m hoping you can show them this lesson and ease their minds.

For this project you will need the following:

  • two acrylic airbrush paint colors (a light and a dark)

I have been getting lots of questions about how to airbrush nails …

This video shows just what is possible …this nail is painted by Chong Kyu Kim.

Before you watch the video … a quick breakdown of the steps:

1. Start with a clean finger nail (you can apply a base nail polish if you want)

2. Apply design using ACRYLIC airbrush paint

3. Apply clear nail polish over entire nail

4. Let the clear nail polish dry

5. Clean up overspray on the skin with soap and water.
